Hustler!
A simple reality TV idea
The Premise
Take your contestants to a city they've never been to. Ensure that they do not make contact with anybody that they already know. Give them a functioning cell phone & $1000, and a myriad of tracking and filming devices to record their experience.
What do they do first? Do they live on the street? Do they rent an apartment? Where do they spend that $? Illegal behavior should be disqualified and explicitly rejected... but people are people - what will they do to survive?
Goals
The goal is to make something of themselves. The contestant with the largest asset pool (cash, accounts, property, cars, etc.) at the end of the season (weekly for 4 months?) is crowned the "Hustler" and wins the prize. A million dollars? A job at a prestigious firm? Doesn't matter much.... they are the HUSTLER!!
I envision a money worship and raw skills worship vibe similar to the Apprentice, but the judge is the streets themselves…
